JPS district of Kinta/Batang Padang are implementing environmental management certification ISO 14001-Management of the Kinta River. On 22 and 23 February 2011 audit team has performed internal audit. The audit team consisted of Cik Khairunisah Binti Husain as the Auditor-General and assisted by Mr. Mohd Hafiz Bin Ahmad and Puan Fakrur Binti Mohd Razi Hanida.

Among the objectives of the audit were:

• Ensuring that pelaksanakan work processes, procedures and activities in environmental management for the management of the Kinta River established are complied with at all times.
• Ensure document system in environmental management has been taking into account all the needs and requirements of the Standard EN ISO 14001:2004.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of the environmental management system has been established
