On Thursday, August 11, 2011 Meeting of the Committee was held A State A River-the Kinta River. Meeting held in the meeting rooms of the main building, Perak Darul Ridzuan was chaired by Y.B. Dato ' Dr Mah Hang Soon, Chairman of the Health Committee, local government, Consumer Affairs, environment, transportation and non-Muslim Affairs.
At this meeting Buditrans Consult Sdn. Bhd., a consultant to conduct studies "Study on Pollution Prevention and Water Quality Improvement of the Kinta River" was invited to present the findings. Between departments/agencies who attend this meeting is the drainage and irrigation Department, Department of environment, Department of agriculture, Veterinary, water board Department Perak, Ipoh City Council, Indah Water Konsortium, national water services Commission, Office of the Director of lands and mines, Kampar district and land Office and State Economic Planning Unit.
This meeting discussed the study conducted by a consultant Buditrans Consult Sdn. Bhd. and preventive measures and enforcement to address pollution for the success of the program Per State Per River. Among them are action to require the installation of a waste trap food and fat (FOG) in restaurants and food premises.
After the meeting, Y.B. Dato ' Dr Mah Hang Soon, accompanied by y. Bhg. Dato ' IR. Abdul Razak Bin Dahalan (Director did) and y. Bhg. Dato ' Abu Hassan Bin Isa (independent DOE) held a press conference.
