On April 30, 2011 River Ranger SMJK Poi Lam Ipoh has organized monitoring water quality at Sg. Valid, Meru Raya, Ipoh. The programme was attended by 5 students with accompanied by 2 teachers River Ranger school and supervised by River Ranger DID the State of Perak. Three types of monitoring have been made on the upper river is valid. The results of monitoring have been made is very good monitoring chemical =, biological monitoring and monitoring fiazikal = net = very good.
