In 2006 the JPS Perak held the Sg. Perak by lowering Sg. Perak from the forests of the yet-to-bee District of Perak to the Wet Rice Bates in the Sg. Perak in the District of Hilir Perak. Proceedings from that expedition, Perak Integrated River Basin Management Seminar was held in the same year. From here comes the recommendation of the River program. Sungai Perak privileged aimed at mobilizing various efforts to promote and highlight the privileges of Sg. Perak.
Studies to realize the potential of Sg. Perak in various fields is being made. Studies include identifying action plans and projects to provide various facilities to attract the public to enjoy, appreciate and co-maintain Sg. Perak.
