27 March 2021, Ipoh - The 2021 National River Trail Gotong-Royong Program in conjunction with the Perak State Level World Water Day Celebration was officiated by YB Dato' Haji Zolkafly bin Harun, Chairman of the Perak Infrastructure, Energy, Water and Transport Committee on behalf of the YAB Menteri Besar of Perak accompanied by YBhg. Dato' Ir. Dr. Hj. Ahmad Anuar bin Othman, Director of JPS Perak. Also present was YB Tuan Azmir Shah bin Zainal Abidin, Perak State Legal Adviser, YBhg. Dato' Rumaizi bin Baharin, Mayor of Ipoh, District and Land Officer of Kinta, Director of the Perak State Department of Environment, Director of Perak State Fisheries and head of the State and Federal Departments.
This gotong-royong program is held in conjunction with the 2021 World Water Day Celebration which is celebrated annually on 22 March and for this year the theme is 'Valuing Water'.
