2 February 2024, Ipoh - Director of Perak State Irrigation and Drainage, Ir. Ts. Ahmad Shahrir bin Md. Naziri has received the presence of officials from the Malaysian Irrigation and Drainage Department, namely Ir. Sazali Osman (Deputy Director, Department of Water Resources Management and Hydrology) & Ir. Nur Hareza bt Redzuan (Chief Assistant Director, Sub. Water Resource Management and Hydrology) to the Office of the Perak State Irrigation and Drainage Department for the Handover Briefing on the Use of the National Water Balance System (NAWABS) of the Bernam River Basin.
This briefing was also attended by the Heads of Divisions, District Engineers & Assistant District Engineers of the Perak State Irrigation and Drainage Department. This briefing aims to provide understanding and benefits to be gained related to the (NAWABS) system as well as develop the NAWABS system at the Perak State in general.
