8 February 2024, Bagan Serai - The 2024 Series 2 Customer Meeting Day Program organized every month by the Perak State Government has been held at the Dato' Zainal Abidin Zin Hall, Bagan Serai. Director of the Perak State Irrigation and Drainage Department (JPS), Tuan Ir. Ts. Ahmad Shahrir bin Md. Naziri was present and accompanied by the District Engineer of Kerian, Tuan Mohd Fisham bin Abu Basah and JPS officers.
The program continued with a visit to Kg. Matang Gerdu with the Honorable Dato' Seri Ir. Mr. Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin, Chairman of the Infrastructure, Energy, Water and Public Transport Committee of Perak to review the problems of local farmers, especially related to irrigation and drainage infrastructure.
