19 February 2024, Manjung - Drainage Donation Trust Account Workshop, Emergency and Contingency Work was held at the Double Tree Hotel By Hilton Damai Laut Resort. This workshop was chaired by YB Sandrea Ng Shy Ching as Chairman of the Housing and Local Government Committee. This workshop was also attended by the Perak State Irrigation and Drainage (JPS Perak) Director, Ir. Ts. Ahmad Shahrir bin Md. Naziri, JPS Perak Officers, representatives from the Legal Adviser's Office, Local Government Division and 15 Local Authorities (PBT) of Perak State.
The purpose of this workshop is to enlighten the Local Authority (PBT) regarding the implementation of the Drainage Contribution Trust Account, Emergency and Contingency Works. In addition, this workshop also focuses on the improvements that will be implemented to ensure that the implementation after this will be more effective.
