11 June 2024, Putrajaya - The 2024 JPS Malaysia HBKIK competition was held at the Multipurpose Hall, Menara Usahawan, Persiaran Perdana, Precinct 2, Putrajaya starting from 10 June 2024 until 14 June 2024. This year, the Larut Matang and Selama District JPS through the Raintown Group represented the Perak State JPS competing at JPS Malaysia level with an Innovation Product called Floating Waste Trap (FWT). The Raintown Group's Innovation Presentation was also witnessed by the Perak State Director of Irrigation and Drainage, Col. Associate (PA) Ir. Ts. Ahmad Shahrir bin Md Naziri accompanied by the District Engineer of Larut Matang and Selama District JPS, Ir. Steven Poh Tze Wei and other officers also attended the program this time.
