1 July 2024, Ipoh -YBhg. Dato' Haji Mad Zaidi bin Mohd Karli, Secretary General of the Ministry of Energy Transition and Water Transformation (PETRA) has conducted a working visit to the Mechanical and Electrical Division of JPS Ipoh Perak to review the preparations in the readiness of Mechanical and Electrical assets of JPS in the face of the Southwest Monsoon and East Monsoon Laut 2024 and also to monitor the implementation of federal development projects implemented in the State of Perak. YBrs. Ir. Amiruddin bin Alaldin, Deputy Director General of the Expert Sector also attended the visit together with senior officials of the Ministry, accompanied by YBrs. Col. Associate (PA) Ir. Ts. Ahmad Shahrir bin Md. Naziri, Director of Perak State Irrigation and Drainage. Also present accompanying together are the Director of Flood Management, Director of Special Projects, Mechanical and Electrical Director, Corporate Director and officials of JPS Malaysia & State of Perak. In the afternoon, YBhg. Dato' had the opportunity to visit the Ranc Project Site. Trolak River Flood Mitigation, Muallim District, Perak Darul Ridzuan.
