7 October 2024, Bagan Datuk - A briefing session and site visit regarding burst tires due to high tides was chaired by Dato' Seri Ir. Mohammad Nizar bin Jamaluddin, Chairman of Infrastructure, Energy, Water and Public Transport at the District and Land Office, Bagan Datuk and visits were made in Kg. Sungai Tiang and Bagan Sungai Belukang.
This session was attended by YB Dato' Shahrul Zaman bin Yahya, Rungkup Assemblyman, JPS Perak Director, Col. Associate (PA) Ir. Ts. Ahmad Shahrir bin Md. Naziri, Deputy Director 1, Puan Ir. Azizah bt Mohd Sabri, Bagan Datuk Chief Assistant District Officer, Encik Mohd Muhsin Hanis bin Shahruddin, mukim heads, and Perak and District JPS Officers. The objectives of this visit were for YB Dato' Seri to see for himself the effects of the high tide that occurred in the area of Bagan Datuk, Rungkup and Hutan Melintang which has caused many tires and coastal banks to break resulting in flooding in Bagan Datuk District.
