31 December 2024, Ipoh - The Perak State Irrigation and Drainage Department, together with the Mechanical and Electrical Services Division (BPME) Ipoh, has sent assistance in the form of 1 unit of 5 cusec capacity end suction pump to Pahang State, utilizing machinery and personnel from the JPS Perak Tengah District, totaling 6 people.
YBhg. JPS Perak State Director, Ir. Dr. Asnor Muizan bin Dato' Hj Ishak has flagged off the truck along with the mobile pump load for logistical assistance to the state of Pahang. Hopefully, these efforts and assistance can somewhat help the flood crisis currently occurring on the east coast of Malaysia, particularly in the state of Pahang. All the staff of the JPS Perak pray that the journey of the team from the JPS Perak Tengah District goes smoothly and safely reaches its destination.
