Quantity Surveying And Contract Management Division

Introduction 

The Perak State Irrigation and Drainage Department consists of several main divisions, where the Materials Measurement and Contract Management Division provides support services in contract management and project procurement at JPS Perak. The main role played by the Materials Measurement and Contract Management Division at JPS Perak is to provide material measurement expertise services to all divisions, districts, and project offices to ensure all projects: -

Implemented effectively, efficiently, and orderly in accordance with government procedures and policies. 
Achieving optimal costs and obtaining commensurate value. 
Meeting the public accountability characteristics entrusted to the Department.

Objective 

Providing effective material measurement and contract management services, as well as effective advisory services, to ensure JPS projects are implemented fairly and efficiently while meeting the characteristics of public accountability.

Function

Conducting technical audits on documents and certifications related to procurement and contracts (Works, Supplies, and Services). 
Providing advisory services on procurement management and contract administration. 
Informing and distributing to all departments, districts, and project offices regarding new and updated circulars and guidelines.

Acting as the Secretariat for :-

• Tender Opening Committee at JPS Perak
• Work Change Committee at JPS Perak Temporary Quantity Reassessment Committee at JPS Perak.
