24 February 2024, Bagan Datuk - A briefing session and site visit attended by Major (K) Dato' Ir. Dr. Mr. Ahmad Anuar bin Othman, Director General of the Malaysian Irrigation Department accompanied by Tuan Ir. Ahmad Shahrir bin Md. Naziri, Director of the Perak State Irrigation and Drainage Department, Mr. Azli bin Ayub, Deputy Director of Floods and Tuan Ir. Zamrie bin Mansor, District Engineer JPS Hilir Perak along with JPS officers from the Flood Mitigation Division, JPS Malaysia & JPS State Perak was held at JPS Bagan Datuk Station Office.
This briefing and technical visit was held to provide information regarding the Bagan Datuk Flood Mitigation Project which was delivered by the District Engineer of JPS Hilir Perak & Project Consultant, Dr Nik & Associates Sdn. Bhd.
