June 12, 2026, Ipoh - The Perak State Irrigation and Drainage Department (JPS) received a courtesy visit from the State Director of FELCRA Berhad Perak, YBhg. Mr. M. Zaful Anuar bin Zulkifli in the Main Meeting Room, JPS Perak to discuss several matters of mutual interest involving the development and management of FELCRA areas in this state.

The visit aimed to strengthen the strategic cooperation between the two agencies and discuss several issues and proposals related to the FELCRA development project, including:

1. Department review for the Planning Approval (PA) application of the Closed System Chicken Farming Project by FELCRA Berhad in Sri Perkasa, Mukim Hutan Melintang, Bagan Datuk District;
2. The jurisdiction of maintaining JPS drains within the FELCRA Berhad plantation area; and
3. The status of JPS reserves within the FELCRA Berhad-owned area.

The Perak State JPS greatly appreciates the initiative and commitment of FELCRA Berhad Perak in strengthening inter-agency cooperation to ensure planned, sustainable development that complies with the water resource and drainage management requirements in the state of Perak.
