04 Jun 2025, Ipoh - A briefing session on Preparing for the Monsoon Season and the Status of the Perak State Flood Mitigation Project (RTB) was chaired by the Right Honorable Menteri Besar of Perak, Dato' Seri Saarani bin Mohamad, at the Menteri Besar's Office Meeting Room.
Also present at this meeting were the Secretary of the Perak State Government, YB Dato' Ahmad Suaidi bin Abdul Rahim; YB Dato' Mohd Zaki bin Mahyudin, Perak State Financial Officer; YB Azmir Shah bin Zainal Abidin, Perak State Legal Officer, as well as the Perak State Exco members.
The Perak State JPS was led by the PPSN, YBrs. Engineer. Dr. Asnor Muizan bin Dato' Haji Ishak, Deputy Director I; Ir. Hajah Azizah bt Mohd Sabri; Senior Assistant Director, Ir. Baharudin bin Ibrahim; Encik Poh Chee Chin; KPP Urban Drainage and Flood Mitigation Division; Encik Hafiz bin Ahmad, PPK Water Resources, Hydrology and Dams Division and Ir. Mohd Shamimi bin Mohd Tahir, PPK Corporate Division.
This discussion aims to present the Department's preparations for the monsoon season and explain the status of the RTB Project throughout the State of Perak.
