04 July 2025, Ipoh - A coordination meeting regarding the Drainage, Irrigation and Drainage System, Pump Operations and Preparations for the 2025/2026 Northeast Monsoon Floods in the State of Perak was chaired by YB Dato' Seri Ir Haji Mohamad Nizar bin Jamaluddin, Chairman of the Infrastructure, Energy, Water and Public Transport Committee, and was held in the Main Meeting Room, Perak State Secretariat.
This meeting was attended by all representatives from Local Authorities, District and Land Offices, Departments under the INTAP Chairman's Portfolio, and relevant Government Agencies. The Perak State JPS was led by the PPSN, YBrs. Engineer Dr. Asnor Muizan bin Dato' Haji Ishak, Heads of Divisions, District Engineers, Assistant District Engineers, and JPS Perak officers.
This meeting aims to discuss the integrated issue of flooding in the State of Perak and the action plan that needs to be taken by all parties to ensure that all Departments and agencies are always prepared to face the northeast monsoon.
