July 26, 2025, Ipoh - The Perak State Department of Irrigation and Drainage (DID) in collaboration with Kuala Lumpur Kepong Berhad (KLK) organized the Corporate Social Responsibility Program and World Water Day Celebration at the Perak State DID Level 2025, held at the Goes Garden JPS Kinta, Ipoh.
Director of the Perak State Irrigation and Drainage Department, YBrs. Engineer. Dr. Asnor Muizan bin Dato' Haji Ishak officiated the program, accompanied by YBrs. Mr. Ku Kok Peng, Head of Sustainability, Kuala Lumpur Kepong Berhad, LAr. Meor Abdullah Zaidi Bin Meor Razali, Director of the MBI Parks and Landscape Department, Puan Aini Oriza Binti Ramli, Environmental Control Officer, JAS, and Mr. Liew Boon Ket, Senior Assistant for Student Affairs, SMK St. Michael, Ipoh, officers from JPS Perak, JPS Kinta/Batang Padang, KLK, JAS, MBI, as well as teachers and students from SMK St. Michael.
The program began with aerobics, a landscape tree planting session, a quiz question session, an in-situ Kinta River water sampling learning session, and concluded with a litter collection program combined with recreation.
