September 17, 2025, Kuala Kangsar - This afternoon, the 17th JPS Malaysia Sports Excellence and Fitness Program Flag Off for the Perak State Contingent took place at the JPS Kuala Kangsar Recreational Park.
Director of the Perak State Irrigation and Drainage Department, YBrs. Engineer. Dr. Asnor Muizan bin Dato' Haji Ishak, President of MAKSAK JPS Perak, attended to make this event a success, which brought together athletes from a total of 14 different sports. The event began with words of encouragement from the Director, the presentation of contingent uniforms, the reading of the oath, and concluded with the symbolic release of the Perak State JPS contingent.
Also present with the Deputy Director I of JPS Perak, Puan Ir. Hajah Azizah binti Mohd Sabri; Deputy Director II of JPS Perak, Puan Zamzamzurina binti Zainon, Secretary of MAKSAK JPS Perak, Ir. Mohd Fisham bin Abu Basah; Heads of departments, District Engineers and Assistant District Engineers of JPS Perak.
The Perak state contingent will be led by Mr. Mohd Hafiz bin Ahmad as team manager and will begin competing from September 19th to 21st.
