November 17, 2025, Teluk Bahang - Dato' Seri Ir. Hj. Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin, Chairman of the Perak State Infrastructure, Energy, Water and Public Transport Committee (INTAP), attended and subsequently officiated the Engineers Conference and Organizational Strengthening Program held at Bahang Bay Hotel, Penang.
This program brings together a total of 80 engineers from various technical departments and agencies under the INTAP Committee, including engineers from the Perak State Irrigation and Drainage Department, the Perak State Public Works Department, Tenaga Nasional Berhad Perak, and the Perak Water Board.
Held over two days and one nite, this program was filled with knowledge sessions, technical presentations, and expertise sharing to enhance the competencies of engineers in the State of Perak. Among the main activities is a briefing session by the former Deputy Director General of JKR Malaysia, Datuk Sr. Hj. Amran bin Hj. Mohd Majid opened the conference with a valuable sharing on the direction of engineering and infrastructure development in the country.
The next slot continued with a talk on emotional management by Puan Ermanormimi binti Ahmad Roosli, who serves as a Psychology Officer at the Taiping District Police Headquarters. She emphasized mental well-being and emotional intelligence as the foundation for excellence in the engineering profession.
This program is expected to strengthen professional networks, enhance technical competencies, and empower technical organizations under INTAP, thereby contributing to the development of more sustainable infrastructure in the State of Perak.
