DIRECTOR OF THE PERAK STATE IRRIGATION AND DRAINAGE DEPARTMENT VISITS FLOOD-AFFECTED AREAS AROUND BAGAN DATUK DISTRICT

December 13, 2025, Bagan Datuk - Director of the Perak State Department of Irrigation and Drainage (JPS), YBrs. Engineer. Dr. Asnor Muizan bin Dato' Hj. Ishak has gone on the ground to inspect the flood situation around Tebuk Semani, Kampung Sungai Burung, and the Rungkup Pump House. Also present during the visit was the Assistant District Engineer of the Department of Irrigation and Drainage (DID) Bagan Datuk, Mr. Nor Rahmat bin Zainudin.

 This visit aims to identify the problems occurring in the affected areas and assess the need for appropriate mitigation measures to reduce the risk of future flooding.
