Bahasa Melayu February 12, 2026, Gopeng - A technical visit related to Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) systems and components was held at the Gopeng Dam. This visit was organized by the Mechanical and Electrical Services Division (BPME) Ipoh Branch and was also attended by officers from the Mechanical and Electrical Services Division, Perak State Irrigation and Drainage Department (JPS).
This visit was led by Mr. Normi Sharizal bin Miswan, Chief Assistant Director (BPME Ipoh) and also attended by Mr. Muhd Zulkifli bin Idris (BPME JPS Perak) along with officers from BPME Ipoh and JPS Negeri Perak.
The main purpose of the visit is to review the periodic maintenance reports of the M&E systems and equipment, as well as to identify the mechanical and electrical components involved in the dam's operation.
Overall, this visit provided comprehensive technical exposure related to the operation of the M&E system at the Gopeng Dam and helped strengthen understanding and coordination among the parties involved in maintenance and operations.
