April 2, 2026, Ipoh – Deputy Director (Management) of the Perak State Irrigation and Drainage Department (JPS), Ir. Hjh. Azizah binti Mohd Sabri, along with Mr. Fadhil bin Ahmad, Senior Assistant Director, River and Coastal Zone Division, JPS Perak, attended the briefing session on the Role of the Integrated River Basin Management Committee (IRBM) at the State and Federal levels.
The briefing was chaired by Ms. Halizah binti Sipun, Director of the Perak State Economic Planning Unit and Deputy Senior Secretary (Development), and took place at Laman Darul Ridzuan, Ipoh. This briefing session aims to explain the roles and coordination of the committee's functions in ensuring the management of river basins is carried out in an integrated and sustainable manner between state and federal agencies.
