Environmental awareness programme organized by the drainage and irrigation Department (did) and Sahabat Alam Malaysia (SAM) was held at 18.02.2011 at Tg Uda River Resort, Kg Setiawan, Manjung district, Perak Darul Ridzuan. The programme was attended by 50 participants comprising students of Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Seri Iskandar and Universiti Perguruan Sultan Idris Shah (UPSI), Tg. Malim. The program is organized by the JPS Manjung district and his companions Alam Malaysia (SAM) by filling a talk related to the awareness of the importance of preservation of the river. Participants were also briefed on the method of monitoring river water quality in biology and chemistry also.
