On Saturday, dated 09 April 2011 Sm K Padang Rengas Tun Perak, Kuala Kangsar, Perak River Ranger Program held organized by the Department of irrigation and drainage Perak. The program aims to enhance students ' awareness and knowledge about the preservation of rivers and the environment.
This programme involves a member of the Environmental Club of SMK Tun Perak accompanied by 4 teachers and 35 students from form one to form five as well as officers from the JPS district of Kuala Kangsar and DID the State of Perak. The river affected by the tests determine the quality of water is the river Ulu Kangsar, Padang Rengas is located close to the school.
